Ashvin Kamath, MD was born in Colorado and was raised in Southern California. Dr. Kamath is a graduate of Princeton University and the U.C. San Diego School of Medicine. He completed Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship at the UCLA-Olive View Medical Center in Los Angeles. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Dr. Kamath resides in Marietta with his wife and children, and he joined the Georgia Kidney Associates in 2017.

Dr. Kamath is based at our Austell, Paulding, and Marietta offices.  He rounds at WellStar Kennestone, WellStar Cobb, and Northside Cherokee hospitals as well as the Fresenius South Cobb and Douglasville dialysis clinics.
