Michele Chen, ANP-BC, joined Georgia Kidney Associates in 2001. She complete ber Bachelor's of Nurning at the University of North Alabama graduating Summa Cum Laude. Michele completed her Master's of Nursing form the University of Maryland. She also earned a scholarship from the American Cancer Society. While at school, Michel concentrated on Adult Health and Oncology. She obtained her previous nursing experience while working at Dekalb Medical Center on the Oncology/Renal unit and Emory University Hospital on the Urology/Gynecology unit.

Michele is a member of Sigma theta Tau Nursing Honor Society, American Cancer Society, Oncology Nursing Society and the American Nephrology Nurses Association. She spends her freee time with her husband and two sons. Their family is complete by a Lilac Point Siamese named Skittles. She enjoys attending her sons' baseball games, baking and traveling.
