Dr. Robert Jansen, nephrologist with Georgia Kidney AssociatesRobert D. Jansen, MD is a long time Georgia resident who received his medical degree from Emory University Hospital. He did his internship and residency at Barnes Hospital, Washington University, in St. Louis MO, was a Medical Staff Fellow at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD and returned to ST. Louis to complete his Nephrology Fellowship at Washington University. He also received his Maters in Business Administration from Kennesaw University in 1997.

Dr. Jansen joined Georgia Kidney Associates in 1985 and left briefly from 1994-1998 to accept a position as Vice President of Medical Operations with Promina Health Systems. In 1998, he left Promina to resume is medical practice.

He resides in Marietta, GA with his wife and daughter. He enjoys photography, scuba diving, reading and spending time with his daughter.
